At Least He's Not This Guy!
Sure, It's too bad Mike didn't land the title of "Sealand's Best Athlete" to run the Toronto Marathon but I'm glad he didn't get to be the lead character in this story.
"I am so very proud of Mike, and to a lesser degree, Scott"

I'm even more glad that I'm not the one who died.
By the way, I ran the 5K in about 26:42. Not bad, considering that I didn't bother training, and ran the race on about four hours of sleep.
And did I mention? FOUR hours of sleep! Imagine what I could do with a good rest. I wasn't even really trying to go that fast, either.
You know what would be cool, though? To train incessantly for a whole year, but not tell anyone at work that I'm doing it. Then, when we all go do the %K again next year, I run it in 18 minutes. Then I act like it was no big thing.
